As a professional Parent Coach, I am proud to bring an extensive background of both personal and professional parenting experience to my work. I have worked for 15 years in parent education, family support and marriage and family counseling. Even more importantly, I am blessed to be the mother of 4 amazing children who have given me experience with raising fragile infants, working with learning differences, adoption, & attachment issues. I especially enjoy supporting families who are parenting children with learning differences and other challenges. My story with parent coaching started when I was seeking hopeful, forward-looking and action-oriented support for my own family life. Parent coaching is unlike any other family support dynamic I have ever experienced & its power was intriguing to me, beckoning me to become a Certified Parent Coach® through the Parent Coaching Institute.
Additionally, I am proud to be a certified practitioner of yoga for children, having trained with Sonia Sumar, founder of Yoga For The Special Child. I bring this training to my children's yoga classes, offering a gentle, respectful and effective support for all children, but especially those learning to manage learning challenges in their own lives.
